Michael B Harris, MFA
About the Artist

Michael B Harris is an imaginative painter who is driven by an incredible passion for self-expression through art. He has studied painting under the careful eye of Pennsylvania's Hope Horn (deceased), Pennsylvania landscape artist Brian Keeler, and recently in West Palm Beach, Florida, at the Armory Arts Center with colorist Dennis Aufiery, and portrait artist Stephen Rogers. In August of 2011 Agora Gallery in Chelsea began to represent Michael. His works are often noted for their unique style, elegance, and technique. Michael has developed a style that blends realism with expressionism. He is inspired by the Fauvists and the Ash Can School. His use of vibrant colors and strong lines make his work so appealing. Michael is accomplished in using traditional methods as well as modern technique. His paintings have been featured in galleries across the nation and are in many private collections at home and abroad. He loves to express his vision through art.

He resides in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and Palm Beach, Florida.
